24-hour personal care services creating a safe, peaceful structured yet independent home-like environment
for each and every resident of Lovelace is the top priority for the Center's well trained, licensed and
certified professional staff, whom are on duty 24 hours every day. |
Lovelace's round-the-clock residents may avail themselves of a host of services and activities that
that includes physical fitness, special events, arts and crafts, shopping, planned trips and outings, socials
and parties. We also have a cozy, well stocked library, an entertainment room with TV/VCR/DVD and a activity rooms
Personal mail service, linen service, housekeeping and nutritional supervision is provide to each and every Lovelace
resident. |
Lovelace Living Center is a professionally-managed, secure smoke-free, and fully accessible building.
The Center is conveniently located near to shops, doctors, hospital and churches. Specially designed with
state of the art accessibility for people with disabilities, Lovelace features an enclosed courtyard with lovely
gardens and walking paths for the resident who seeks a moment with nature, charming screen porches, an
attractive fireplace. and a tastefully-appointed private dining room. The private rooms includes a private bath
and individually controlled heating and air conditioning units. wall to wall carpeting, mini blinds and,
if desired, may accommodate the residents own furnishing to foster that "home away from home" feeling.

Private Home Care
At the heart of Lovelace's private home health service is:
- The knowledge that quality of life is directly related to the quality of care.
- And the belief that quality care, administered at-home, by or with the participation of family,
maximizes health, comfort, functionality to promote Longevity.

Using this proven philosophy, LoveLace trains both the care recipient and the family, in care delivery
techniques that can be rendered reasonably and safely by non-medical persoms such as family members,
companions and sitters. In cases that medical personal are needed certified nursing assistants (CNAs) are available.
Physical, speech and occupational therapists are available on as-needed basis.

Based on the level-of-care continuum, Lovelace can provide Home Health Aides, Nursing services and, if required,
comprehensive home healthcare services. Level-of care is determined by a free, no obligation in home assessmet,
which is conducted br one of Lovelace,s Private Care Counselors.

- On-site personal care services require reservations and are offered at a nominal fee detailed in Lovelace's
fee schedule.
- Assessment can be conducted in the home, in the hospita or any special livinh quarters.
